Running leggings for tall body and straight hips

I go for the odd run but really struggle as most leggings aren't long enough between the crotch and the waist, even the high waisted ones so the leggings seem to fall down as they dont meet my natural waist. I have tried sweaty Betty, m and s and a Nike (before I banned them a couple of years ago). Does anyone have any suggestions? It really irritates me and takes away what little pleasure I get. I am 5ft 10 but have standard length legs and am a 12ish size wise.

I don’t have straight hips, but I am tall. Have you tried Next ones?

I got some in TKMaxx called Ellese (I think). They reach my natural waist easily and don't fall down.

I recently bought some from Decathlon and have been impressed. They are Kiprun I think and they have a high waist which is like a wide very comfy waistband. They don't have a drawstring which is the only thing, but they did stay up on me. They also have a pocket at the back.

Which sweaty Betty type did you try? Zero gravity are amazing and best to go with the slightly smaller size if you are between on their size guide

DHB run tights on Wiggle. I am also 5’10 and these are the best I’ve come across

I'm 5ft 11 and love Matalan leggings for working out/running. The ones I currently have are ankle length on me, have a high, wide waistband, side pockets, squat proof and wash like a dream. Really well priced but great quality. Will try to find a link.

I can only run in leggings with a drawstring and high waist like Flanci or Tyna, but I bought some Long Tally Sally ones and I have to say that they come up incredibly to my actual waist and stay in the right place. I hadn't really thought that where my waist was was the issue in staying up, but apparently it is.

I like the sweaty Betty Gary yoga pants, I wear them for running , yoga and leisure wear.

Same size and same problem, I wear Nike or Sweaty Betty running trousers instead (better fabric for running than normal joggers) have never managed to find a wearable pair of leggings.

Thanks all will check these out. The long body but standard lega seems to be a problem. My son has the same problem too. He is 4 and a onesie my friend gave us for a 9-10 fits him perfectly on the body but the arms and legs look ridiculous!
I will try and remember to report back.

Fabletics powerhold are good for this. I’m similar shape (though not tall) and these are high waisted and stay in place.
