Please tell me your best hair styling accessory

Hi all, my niece (almost 15) has long waist length hair and I would like some kind of styling accessory/ies for her birthday. She doesn't need straightners and a Dyson dryer is a bit out of my reach... any other suggestions would be gratefully received. I have short hair so am completely out of my depth on this one!

I love my babyliss big hair; but for her maybe a ghd? Loads of teens can do brilliant curls with them (I can’t!) but it’s a really handy gadget to have anyway
