Alternative to Chanel Vitalumiere 40 beige

Just gone to buy more and see that my foundation has been discontinued. Has anyone found a replacement for chanel vitalumiere 40 beige? I've been recommended Nars but don't have time to try find a counter to test the shade. Am hoping that someone may be able to advise so that I can order a sample.

Estée Lauder Futurist Hydra, and Clinique Even Better Refresh are both similar to Vitalumiere. I'd go as far as to say better, as Vitalumiere was one of the forerunners of the now ubiquitous medium coverage with a bit of glow, but many other companies are now doing something similar.
Not sure which Nars you've been recommended but if it's Sheer Glow it's the most misnamed product ever! It's not sheer and it's not glowy!

You can try Findation. It's pretty good I find.
I was matched in store by that N7 machine thingy (as Calico, which was perfect- btw Hydraluminous might be another one to consider, very similar to the EL) and Findation gave me 1C1 Cool Bone in EL which is also perfect.

You can get the aqua version of vital lumière - that's what I wear. The same shade is available.

I see this is a year old but I’m in the same predicament. I used Chanel vitalumiere for years and had a lot in stock but I’ve finally run out and am struggling to find a match! I need that moisturising, dewy finish that doesn’t go patchy or flake on my dry & sensitive skin. I’ve tried Nars tinted moisturiser, Nars sheer glow and most recently Nars light reflection foundation all of which don’t come close. I was wondering if you had any joy with any other brands and if so what would you say was closest to the vitalumiere?! I wish so much they’d bring it back!!!

Chanel & Dior are my favourite makeup brands, don’t rate Clinique.

I find Nars too yellow.
YSL Touche Eclat foundation has a good match to beige. Sorry I can’t recall the number as that’s what you asked for. But, they did a direct comparison with VL.

Hope you can help too! I have also used up vitalumiere shade cameo clair and trying to find a shade to match as the vitalumiere aqua doesnt have this shade.
Any advice as I too cannot get to a Chanel counter 😞
