I have a short length bob, usually worn wavy, centre parting.
I'd like to have a side parting, but how do you style it so it stays over to the side?
tips please TIA

You have to 'train' your hair to do certain things, like having a particular parting and having a fringe. Basically you keep doing it until are your hair is accustomed to it and it'll start to settle that way.

In regards to the fringe, you would usually need to get it cut to a side fringe or you can style it with straighteners. Again, it takes time for the new style to settle in place. However, if you happen to have a cowlick in the fringe area, it will always refuse to sit right - that was me having to straighten/style my side fringe every day for many years 😅

I put a bit of mousse in my fringe before I blow dry it. Dry it to the side, clip it while i finish getting ready then take the clip out and brush through. Gives it enough grip to stay in place without the crunch of hair spray.
