Is there an alternative to white trainers?

I love the box fresh white trainers look but since moving to ‘the country’ about 5 years ago, it’s not really a feasible option. (We live on a single track lane between two stables.) I can’t step out of the house without my shoes getting filthy so white just looks shit immediately in all but the driest of weather. I pretty much live in DM Chelsea Boots as my day to day shoes.

I’m not adverse to bright colours but obviously I want something that ‘goes’ with a variety of outfits. Black trainers just scream ‘school shoes’ to me. Is there such a thing as a dark coloured, neutral, fashionable trainer that can be worn with jeans, dresses etc?

I’m in the same boat. I wear cream and off white trainers which are more forgiving. Navy or olive green trainers are a nice alternative to black.

black trainers are awful.

I’m thinking maybe olive/khaki or burgundy. Brown soles would be a plus too 😂

black trainers with white soles are fine.
