What to wear with camel cargo trousers?

Hello!

I have just purchased the most comfortable, bloat friendly, thigh friendly, podgy hip friendly cargo trousers from Next. I love them.

The colour is in camel (just like a Camel trench coat!)

I'm just trying to think of ways that I could wear them. Black birkenstocks in the summer? White t shirts?

But what else? And more importantly - how do I style them for Spring while it's still chilly?

Would trainers look OK? (What colour) and denim jackets? A jumper?

I can't afford to buy anymore clothes so I'm hoping I can "shop my wardrobe" but I need ideas.

Cargo Trousers - Camel

These are the ones! I'm a squishy 5ft 2 and they fit wonderfully. I have Endometriosis and prefer soft / flexi waistbands and these are just lovely.

I'm not very stylish so don't necessarily listen to me, but today I'm wearing white trainers and a navy and white striped top with my cargo trousers. I think it looks nice (although I did nearly go out with the size 12 sticker on the front of the top and none of the 5 other people in the house told me!)

I've just bought similar and I've been wearing them with a v neck cream jumper, a v neck yellow jumper and a v neck pink jumper (there's a theme here), and cream coloured trainers. I'm thinking summer would be as you said, casual sandals and white tshirt

I love the trousers. I think everything you’ve mentions sound like it would work, I’m sure trainers would be fine, white maybe? X

I didn't think of striped tops. I have loads....I have a little addiction 😂

I also have a black v neck jumper and a light grey v neck jumper. And white trainers.

That's great. I really need to have a no spend Spring 😳 comfy trousers is half my yearly summer battle so I'm really chuffed.

I was going to suggest light grey or navy tops as an alternative to white. T-shirts, sweatshirts, jumpers and vests all good.
White trainers, chunky sandals in any neutral colour - black, brown, navy, white etc
Denim jacket or even a shacket would work
