Home dye to cover roots?

What home dye can I buy to blend these roots into the end? I was meant to be getting roots done on Tuesday but instead I’ll be having surgery which will mean stitches so no dye for weeks.

Don’t mind if the ends get a tiny bit darker just want the greys covered, what can I use? Could I just get do the roots?

I use castings semi permanent and it covers greys well for me. I use a darker colour, so not sure - but this looks about a match for your hair?

Thanks, hadn’t thought of semi permanent. Interesting you think I’m that light, I used to have quite dark brown hair, and still do in my own head but obviously that doesn’t match with reality

I find Castings come up darker than you'd expect. So their dark blonde seems like a brown to me. So probably better to start with a lighter shade ?
