Low heels to wear with this dress?

I've always been rubbish at picking shoes to go with outfits, so hoping one of you kind souls may be able to help me out.

This is the dress:

It's been years since I've worn smart shoes, so not sure where to look for comfortable ones. I'm thinking Mary Janes or kitten heels tend to be a bit more comfy? Want to avoid anything too chunky if possible as I have fairly big feet but am also quite short! Probably going to be wearing nude tights, so best not to buy something with an open toe.

Budget is under £50, but realistically I'm unlikely to get much use out of the shoes, so cheap and cheerful would be ideal.

Any suggestions as to what would look nice?

I think open toe would look better but understand the tights dilemma!

Block heel is comfier than kitten IMO and seem to be lots around. Maybe this type of thing

They have other colours too. Is the top silvery coloured?

Thanks, I do like all the shoes that have been suggested. I hadn't noticed that the top looks a bit silvery, I'll wait for it to arrive and see how it looks in person. That also buys me a bit of time to see if the weather gets warmer, so I might be able to brave no tights and wear an open toe!
