Swim proof fake tan for holiday!

Is there such a tanning product that is swim proof? I am going on holiday in July and want to tan my pale skin but also will be going in the pool with my daughter. Does anyone know of any?

When you apply fake tan the mousse kind that you leave on for 6-8 hours and then wash off that's water proof and lasts about a week before it starts to fake away I use this regularly and I take baths/showers everyday and it doesn't come off straight away it will start to fade within a week or so unless you shave while you have it on then it will fade quicker

What tan is this please?

I take a gradual tanner with me and apply every day. Make sure you don't use oil based sunscreen.

Which gradual tanner do you use? Any ice tried so far dont smelly great

I have vitiligo and so I use a self tanner most of the summer round. I use Rose and Caramel velvety olive tanning foam mousse (medium to dark) about once a week, then St Moritz mousse from B&M (mediium) to top up every 3 days or so. When it starts to get patchy Rose and Caramel do a great tan remover which I use to clean it all off and then start again. I’ve used both these brands on holiday and never had a problem. I’m fair skinned and blonde and it looks really natural.

It's about good prep. Make sure you use body scrub and moisturizer before you even think about fake tan. It then should last you the whole of your holiday.

Just enjoy yourself and your holiday rather than worry about fake tan.

Oh ffs there's always one...

Slight derail but foes anyone else find their legs will not tan in the sun AT ALL? Seriously wonder if mine have any melanin in them at all Confused

Same here, my legs just refuse to tan although they have feckled and look horrible 😕

Sausage 767 seems to have the best advice , just back from Thailand & had no problem with her tan ..
I find Bellamianta medium mousse best ever tan I’ve gotten , you couldn’t be in the pool all day with it either though , but def can go in pool ..
Apply again midway through the holiday ..
Have a lovely time 😎

Spray tan (sienna X) before I go and holiday skin or similar each night before going out! Works a charm.

On a side note… even if your legs don’t tan, please use sun cream on them- my friend is currently undergoing skin cancer treatment on her legs from this!
