Easiest at home fake tan

I've got a two and half year old and slowly and surely I'm trying to get myself back. (After a few years of crap eating and no exercise). Can anyone recommend a really easy (fool proof) fake tan, which I can do and won't end up looking like an undercooked piece of bacon? I'm crap at all this kind of thing so any help would be appreciated

I got into fake tan last summer and actually DH has too!

The Hawaiian tropic foam is good if you have sallow yellow/olive undertones - it goes on green but dries to a for me really natural tan colour - although it does take a few coats;

Tried the St Moritz foam in medium yesterday - I'm normally a 20/30 in foundations and I've found the depth of colour better than above but it's much more orange/pink than I would go for.

I've got the bondi sands gradual tanning milk coming today as I'm both getting bored of the faff of having to waft around for hours after before showering the foam back off, and cos I'm not happy with the shade of the St Moritz.

DH loves the hawaiian tropic.

I've got the tan luxe face drops and don't love them - again find them too orange/pink for my skintone - I've also got the well regarded St Tropez face mist coming today.

I am totally not an expert though - just my findings. I'm currently waiting for the results of the biopsy on a suspected melanoma so am throwing everything at the fakery as that's now my future :)

St Moritz medium

Exfoliate your skin first even it's just with an exfoliating glove for £1

Bondi sands pure

I bought the Primark tan luxe type drops for £3 and they give me a nice glow on my face.

I haven't tried them in my body but maybe I should for £3

I like the bondi sands 1 hour mousse. Great because you don't need to have it on for hours or sleep in it and mess up your bedding. It has a guide colour which washes off so you can see where you're putting it.

Thanks ladies! Do I need a special mit to put it on?

I use a tanning mitt to put mine on. They're usually next to the tans if you're buying instore.

I’ve been using the M&S Autograph one recently- not super long lasting as it wears off in about 3-4days, but very easy to apply and doesn’t go patchy as it fades.
