Looks normal at the front, and then this palaver at the side 🤦‍♀️

Can this ever work? Do I need a different bra? Is it very passé to even care that my underwear is on show?

I like the colour and wanted something slightly cropped in the body and sleeveless for the summer.

I don't think it looks right with the shorts, but think it would look nice with some fairly low rise, loose trousers or skirt.

I'd go braless (if possible - which it wouldn't be for me) or different bra myself, but that might be personal preference

I wear vests a lot. At last count I had 31 black vests 😁
I would wear a cropped top under that - am a 34B so don't really need a bra. My 38GG friend lets her pretty lacy bar show - it looks great.

I think it looks fine, that bra just comes up higher under your arm than most so it shows a bit more. You could wear a different bra that is lower cut, but to be honest it looks fine to me and I doubt anyone would even notice.

I have this issue with bras too. If I do the Bravissimo/Boob or Bust bra measurement thing I end up with a bra that comes really high up under my arm. Probably doesn't help that I'm short and well-endowed. If anyone has a solution I'd be glad to hear it - my best option is to buy a bra that is bigger in the back measurement and lower in the cup. I did complain to the woman in Bravissimo once and she just looked at me like I was mad.

I like Matalan basic vests the best . All other ones think your back should be bigger ! 🙄

It’s unfortunately a very visually unappealing but comfortable non-wired M&S job that I’ve been wearing since giving birth.

Maybe it’s time to look into something with a spot more pizzazz (that will also hopefully not be so high cut?!)

I think bra showing is fine if it's a pretty lacy bra, otherwise it needs to not show. I would tuck the vest in and I think your shorts need to be about 3 inches shorter, I'd fold/ roll them up.
