Getting rid of or reducing lines above lips??

Blossom4538 · 03/04/2023 11:54

Hi all,
I have these lines above my lips which I hate! Photos attached. One is a scar the other two are lines from sleeping on that side for years. I don’t smoke and it’s only on one side. Are there any products or cosmetic treatments to get rid of them, without making my lips or face look odd?!!!

Thanks.

I find hifu treatments pretty good for my skin like a light machine thing? They're only about £65 a treatment .

The lines above your lips are minimal tbh.

Fortheloveofus · 03/04/2023 14:27

I honestly don't think they're that bad and I wouldn't do anything major, tbh - and I'm honestly not just saying that.

saying that, in case youre thinking of going down that route I had horrendous smokers lines (I did smoke for over 30 years) and developed marionette lines when menopause started. After a few years of thinking and researching, I finally went and got some (very minimal) fillers 2 weeks ago. Not so much that anyone has actually noticed any huge change. I did stay home for 3 days because there was some slight swelling and bruising but nothing major snd it soon disappeared. I was so upset and sad about how I looked but I'm so happy with the results.

A tiny bit of filler in your top lip should smooth out the vertical lines you're worried about.

I had ‘smokers’ lines on my top lip, and had 0.5ml of filler there.
Did absolutely wonders

What is hifu? Agree, yours aren't bad at all. I'm 72,had them for years, getting worse. Have never smoked. Hardly any crows feet, but these are awful.

Thanks all
@Fortheloveofus where did u have your fillers placed and how much approx? Fancy sharing any pics?!!

@PicturesOfDogs I’m tempted but a tiny bit of filler - just don’t want it to look odd, as my top lip already has a slight protruding duckiness about it lol!

def looking into HIFU treatments

just purchased a light therapy gadget too…

0.5ml of filler would sort that OP
