I'm currently having a complete nightmare with my hair atm. It has been thining slowly over the last few years, it's oily, lank and looks horrible.

I came across these shampoos/conditioners and wondered if they are any good and which one I should go for? I started oiling my hair last week with rosemary oil so not sure if I could use the rosemary shampoo as well?

Yes I've used it and I rate it and the moment I am using a growth shampoo but as soon as I'm satisfied with the growth I'm going back to Faith In Nature

I recommend the Lemon and Tea Tree for oily hair

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 26/03/2023 23:17

I'm also oiling with Rosemary oil, I don't see why it would be an issue

I like the shampoos a lot. I like the Aloe Vera one and the Jojoba one best. The conditioners are fine but not quite heavy duty enough for me. I'm currently using their shampoo bar which I like too.

I bought a lemon one after reading about them on here but it left my hair sticky and horrible - although my hair is drier these days. Have you tried Herbal Essences lime shampoo in the green bottle? This works for all different hair types in my family.

I have the rose one and love it. My hair is not falling out in handfuls anymore.

Whenasuitcasejustwontdo · 27/03/2023 10:23

I’ve been using them for over a year, whichever scent is on offer. I have a different hair type to you, but wanted to recommend these as my hair has never been in such good condition. It’s so glossy and manageable!

I had the rosemary one and didn't like it at all. Thought it was too runny and just seemed cheap. Ended up pouring it down the sink. Avalon Organics is similar but better, I think.

Squirrelsnut · 27/03/2023 22:11

They're lovely. I like the lavender and geranium one best.

Minnie123456 · 27/03/2023 23:31

Thank you everyone, I think I will give them a try as they're buy 1 get 1 half price in H&B and I don't think they could make my hair any worse. If they don't work i'll try some of the other suggestions.
@EineReiseDurchDieZeit I wasn't sure if too much rosemary would be bad for my hair.

I'm not sure to be honest OP as I'm not using a Rosemary shampoo

If this is for me then I'm using Watermans and yes it's working

Skinnykid · 13/07/2023 09:53

@EineReiseDurchDieZeit thank you will give it a try 😍

GardeningIdiot · 13/07/2023 09:56

I love these shampoos. The amount of rosemary they include will be tiny compared to using the oil on your hair so no worries there.

My daughter (15) and I (50) use Faith in Nature Dragon Fruit shampoo/conditioner. We have very different hair needs (teenager greasy/oily vs menopausal dry scalp) but it works for both of us and stopped my itchy scalp other, much more expensive, products, didn't address. I buy the 5l containers and decant into smaller bottles, which is very economical.

BrandNewBicep · 13/07/2023 17:08

I use and really like the lemon and tea tree one. Not so keen on the rosemary one - too runny. Am trying out the orange and grapefruit one at the moment, but don't like the smell of grapefruit, so leaving it for my son.

Steppingintome · 16/07/2023 22:00

are not there any offers on the shampoo bars anywhere at the moment. I wouldn’t mind giving them a try. What are the conditioner bars like?
