French skincare for sore skin

DH is off to France tomorrow and I've got a little list of stuff for him to get but need a new "something" for my face. It's red and sore. I think rosacea's struck (thanks peri). Plus when I cleanse with my usual Liz Earle it is dry and tight immediately.
Currently got Aldi Q10 and their caviar night cream as day cream because it's richer.
What's lovely and French I can get DH to buy and pay for ?
And anything else French pharmacy /parapharmacie I need? I like my Klorane shampoo and Petits Marseillais shower gels.

You can get most of the better french skincare in the UK anyway, particularly online. I genuinely can't think of anything I'd recommend that isn't already available in the UK - maybe the A131 pommade which is basically a milder retinol but I'd not advise that for use at all if you're struggling with red and sore skin as it isn't suitable and will make it worse. If you think you've got Rosacea or the beginnings of it do consider speaking to your GP or alternatively having a consultation with something like Skin & Me or Dermatica who can prescribe specifically for this with things you can't buy OTC.

It's not French so not really what you're asking but Eucerin is good for dry skin - the 5% Urea Facial cream will stop the tight feeling without being heavy or greasy. If my skin is sore, red or flaky then it's a lifesaver.

Avene cicalfate cream is my go to for irritated skin

Avene cicalfate or La Roche Posay “Toleraine”

Another vote for Avene cicalfate

But you can get it in Boots, OP! If it’s cheaper in France then it’s always worth stocking up on Avene!

I also love their suncreams if those are cheaper there.

Petit Marseilles hand soap, love that!

also worth trying a different cleanser, eg La Roche Toleraine cleanser? I think it’s white.

Thank you! I like la roche stuff so will try some of that and some Avene.

I would get some LRP toleraine and cicaplast here in UK. It was no cheaper in France last time I checked. I would also stop using the Liz Earle and try a LRP oil or cream cleanser.
I would definitely get your DH to stock up on some Petit Marseillais shower gels though. I also like getting Bourjois make up in France (you can get some in Superdrug here but it's not the full range).

I bought some Nuxe organic face cream
and night cream in France which I love.

Ps. I think LRP is 3 for 2 in Boots at the moment.
