do you ever wear a brooch?

have been given a lovely one but it just looks wrong

my brooch is a Lea Stein cellulose art deco cat brooch.
It is just lovely. Black white and red
today i am trying it on a beret.
may try the black velvet band necklace idea- but it may be too big.
will not look right on a rainproof jacket and my winter coat is brown tweed so not right either.
