Colours / styling - North East or online?

After watching a million YouTube videos and staring at myself in the mirror / horrifying bare faced selfies next to the window I have concluded that I really don’t know what my undertone is, what my saturation is, whether I’m light / dark etc.

I really need help!

id like to see someone in person and I’m based in the NE - happy to travel between Newcastle to Leeds. Can anyone recommend a stylist who is particularly good with middle aged, lost their way mums?

Or failing someone in person, any recommendations for a good online consultation?

I had a basic online one done by Styled By Susie last year and it was pretty thorough for the price. I have the guide on my phone and it's great for forcing me to choose different clothes and not default to my safety net of jeans and blue tops. It also had some helpful makeup advice which had made me branch out a bit into brighter lipstick. I'm really happy with it and feel more put together when I go out. I'm still in my usual jeans, fleece, trainers on home days but I feel so much better when I'm socializing.
I'm 43, size 16, apple shaped and have 3 kids...I'd very much lost my way!

Thank you! I will check Susie out, absolutely yes I need help socialising or being a bit smarter. I’m fine to wear trackies and slouchies at home, I actually feel I do sporty quite well.

Bump for any other recommendations please!

I had my colours done recently by Emily Innes of Style Me Happy - all online based on photos.

I'm really happy with the results. It may not be as thorough as an in person appointment but I already had a good idea of my colour season and this has confirmed I was on the right track plus given me the extra information I couldn't have figured out on my own. Definitely great value for money and will help me buy clothes that actually suit me.

100% look at House of Colour Karina Leacock. She's in Leeds and amazing. I've had her do a wardrobe review for me - but I have had my colours done with HoC (which was well worth it). She's on FB and Insta

Hello, I am a bit late to the party, but my favourite is Capsule Closet Stylist. She has over 20 years of experience and a long history working with clients and celebrities. She mainly works with 40+ women. She absolutely transformed how I look at clothes and helped me update my wardrobe with wonderful ideas. I recommend booking a free consultation with her. I promise she will not disappoint. https://calendly.com/capsuleclosetstylist/free-consultation
