Cruelty Free Skincare like Cerave

I really like the hydrating cleanser and moisturising lotion. I'd assumed because they're vegan that they were also cruelty free but they're not.

Is there anything similar that is cruelty free? Bonus points for a British brand.

Thanks

no help here … but watching with interest

Superdrug has the Me+ range which is a rip off of Cerave and Revolution skincare has a ceramides range that's also another one that's imitated the Cerave products. I've not tried any of them personally but they're both brands that are fully cruelty free.

I would point out that Cerave is cruelty free per EU regular except for the third party testing loophole, that only really applies to China. China have now phased that requirement out as of January 2023 therefore it's technically now cruelty free again provided no other countries demand this.

*regulations not regular

Balance Me? Cruelty free, British. Their probiotic fragrance free cleanser is great as is their ceramide serum? Lots of different products.

Cassandra Bankson on YouTube only discusses cruelty free I'd check out her recommendations

I'm in love with Upcircle Beauty - cruelty free, vegan and British. Environmentally friendly too - they refill empties rather than having to keep buying new containers. The moisturising lotions are absolutely lovely. Until now, theyve had a cleansing balm but due to release an oat cleanser too which is more like the Cerave one

Popping back to say a big thank you for all the suggestions. Due to budget constraints this month, I went with the Superdrug me+ hyaluronic cleanser and it's been brilliant (I prefer it to the Cerave and it's chear too).

I've bookmarked some products from both Balance me and Upcircle to buy next, thanks for recommending the brand.
