Has anyone had blepharoplasty? (In the South West would be a bonus).

I’m wondering if you could give me any feedback on blepharoplasty. If you had it, how was the recovery & how much did it cost you?

I’m considering it, as it’s making me really uncomfortable, especially in hot weather.

I can’t wear eye makeup either, and the look of my hooded eyes really makes me self conscious.

If you’re in the South West, and could recommend somewhere to get it done that would also be helpful too.

There's a London surgeon who does a clinic Truro I think, my friend swears by him but no personal experience.

Bookaholic73 · 19/03/2023 18:23

@HangingOver Thank you. Do you know the name of the clinic?
I don’t mind a bit of a journey to Devon or Somerset if the recommendation of a specific surgeon is good enough.

@Bookaholic73

I am
Also in the south west and have had recommendation for a surgeon locally from another specialist plastic surgeon I happen to know personally.

Pm me if you would like the info.

I’m also interested in any first hand feedback you get as have been inspired by another thread where all the recommendations were quite far from the SW (Bath/Bristol area) and seemed to be much cheaper than I have been quoted for this area (am getting in quotes of £4,995 which seems a little ott for an upper bleph op!).

Hi everyone I’m 6 weeks in after having both upper and lower blephastry … I’m very happy with the lower as the small bags/dark circles have completely gone and are smooth with no hollowing but I’m unhappy with the upper as I feel to much skin was removed to reveal larger than wanted eyelid lines …. I do have some regrets over the consultation conversation and things I should have done and said, if I can be of any help to anyone wanting this procedure please message me.

Hi, I'm sorry you're not happy with your uppers. Are they any better now?
I'm wanting my lowers done but am worried about which surgeon to choose.

PinkCosYouAreSoVery · 25/07/2024 21:23

I'm SW too and looking for a surgeon for upper and lower, Cornwall ideally but would travel further afield. Any suggestions would be very gratefully received. Bonus points if you have personal experience of recommended surgeon. Thank you!
