Hairspray needed for hand luggage only trip.

I'm traveling soon on a city break, hand luggage only. My fine, fly away hair needs hairspray to smooth it down and hold in place.

However, as I am hand luggage only I cannot take aerosols. Any recommendations on where I can get a less than 100ml pump spray or similar? I really don't like the pump hairspray, but have no choice. Any good brands? It's more the size that is the issue.

Thanks.

Buy it once you go through the airport security or in the local country

Buy one when you get thru security, they usually have those ones, then you can throw it away in the way back if you can bring it thru security

There’s a bumble and bumble holding spray in a pump which isn’t half bad but it is so overpriced for what it is. Can you not buy it when you get there? Should be easy enough if it’s a city break.

You can buy travel sized Elnett and Silvikrin aerosols. Our yes, get one in Boots at the airport once you're through security.

I think you can take an aerosol one if under 100ml. In fact I’m sure I’ve done it. Surely everyone takes one of those travel sizes deodorants and they’re aerosols? Why would it be different?

You can take aerosols for hand luggage! However as suggested if you want bigger than one of the minis just buy it at the airport

Thanks everyone. Of course I know I can buy one there, but really don't want to have to throw it away, such a waste. I was under the impression you couldn't take aerosols in hand luggage, maybe I have this wrong! I don't use aerosol deodorant so it's never come up before.

Thanks for the replies x

Just Google it op! A quite 'can you take aerosols in hand luggage' Google says yes as long as it's under 100mls and you don't use it on board. Hardly a difficult task.

A small hairspray (under 100ml) can go in your clear plastic bag in your hand luggage. I took a small Elnett one when I went hand luggage only.
