Slip dresses like in the 90s

I’ve seen in All Saints but I don’t like the lacy top. I’ve looked elsewhere, but I must have missed something. Any ideas? You know the ones, to go with a T shirt underneath.

We had to buy silk satin slip dress style nighties from lingerie shops in the 90's because they weren't yet selling the slip dresses we wanted to wear clubbing in shops

I remember buying a lovely silvery one to wear out clubbing.

They might have been petticoats as per PP I just presumed they were nighties

Isn't it a shame C&A have closed! That's where I used to get all my silky petticoats in the 90s. I had one that I got in the sale for 99p and wore it as a ball gown. Those were the days 😊

I've still got some of the silky nighties that I used to wear clubbing!

You might be right about the petticoats. Problem being that, several decades on, I look like a sack of spuds in one, despite just one dress size increase. I’ll pass on the baton to the DCs who are up-to-date but very safe dressers.

I found what I wanted. I don’t know if I hadn’t seen it before or if it’s new stock. The fabric feels nice and it fits well. I bought it in black but they had a couple of other colours as well.
