Those who buy things on Vestiaire - can you help me with a question? I am trying to buy an item, it is located in Europe. It costs £120 and the customs fees that Vestiaire is showing are £50. It is clearly insane to pay nearly half of the price of the item for the joy of Brexit. I am trying to ship it to the country where the seller is located (I have friends there and can ship to them, I will be visiting said country in a few months and can pick the item up), but even though I added a new address, it would not remove the customs fees from the basket! Should I give up? I was thinking of messaging the seller and buying it closer to my trip (it's been sitting on the platform for a while) but this doesn't seem to be possible at all. Help!

I think you need to change the country settings and currency to whatever country you want to ship it to, it's all the way at the bottom of the page. I'm not sure how it works in the app but it's somewhere hidden in the account settings.

Double check but I think there is no duty on clothes under £120. On VC you can offer less than the price advertised .
