Help between 2 tops for my RARE night out!

i have a night out Sat for a meal with my friends in a lovely restaurant & drinks. I have these 2 tops, I love them both but which one will go best tucked into wide leg black trousers?

Please choose for me & help me look nice!

The pomegranate one. I like the neckline and it looks less office-y

It’s on the clearance bit (because I’m a Frugal Freda!) I don’t know how to link but have attached what to search (within the clearance section) it’s by a wallpaper company I think!

Hopefully the restaurant doesn’t have this wallpaper!🤣

I think the first one would be better with black trousers although I really like the second one which I would wear with jeans or something summery. It's just more of a 'complete' and finished look if it's darker throughout.

I vote first one. It looks more “eveningy” and suited to the time of year.
The mid length sleeves make it perfect for dressing up with thin gold bangles or a bracelet.

@SmileyClare @MonumentalLentil Yes I get this, I’ll either have to rethink bottoms if the pomegranate one…or if I want the black wide legs, go for the Celia Birtwell one!

it’s nice to have some fun decisions for once instead of mum stuff though!
