Help me find a wedding dress

Please help me find the perfect dress for a no frills registry office wedding, but I still want to look fabulous . I like the idea of this as it has a vintage feel but still feels youthful, however I would like something better quality and a bit more special!

I’m 32, a size 10 top and 12 bottom and my budget is £1500 but would be willing to spend more if it was “the one”.

Just to add, I’m really not a fan of Nancy Mac or Bombshell or cliché vintage replica dresses.

Really love the dress, but please don't pair it with shoes that look like you have your knickers around your ankles, as they have.

To my eye the one you’ve linked is a teeny bit … staid. You could definitely do better!

Have to say (despite limited interest in sleb culture) Lily Allen’s Dior wedding dress is fixed in my mind as one of the most stylish ever. Total perfection.

That's stunning and it would lend itself to being made in to a knee length dress if you wanted to after the wedding too.
The price is also great (making it in budget for you)

The Kim Hekim is so beautiful - but maybe one might want a few inches more hem! (Perfect for the reception, perhaps?) The Jil Sander is probably too wintery unless you’re getting married this month - but it would be a wonderful thing to have in your wardrobe.

Really love that buttoned up the front mini you’ve shown, @BridaBrida - it’s so chic and memorable. (I’ll laugh if you say it’s £50 on eBay! Hard to ascertain the fabric in a black and white photo.)

The double breasted jacket part of the ensemble outfit is nice, but the skirt is a bit depressingly droopy. With your budget and no requirement for anything too traditional I’d be looking for something sharp and … outstanding, not the usual floaty satin.

Thank you all for the recommendations. The last ghost dress linked is beautiful as is the Christopher Kane one but not exactly what I’m looking for.

The button down dress is my favourite! It’s about £1900 from a website called Lein. I just loved the vintage feel of the two-piece but I wasn’t sold on the skirt.
