People with nose piercings... has anyone tried Bioplast studs?

I have a nose piercing. It's healed now but I get irritation just where the stud sits, even with titanium. I wondered if Bioplast studs/rings were worth trying, as I love my teeny little nose stud but my skin gets flaky and sore at times!

I have used bioplast in my lip piercing, worked great.
Not been able to use on my nose piercing as couldn't find a thin enough post, but I would have.

They were very popular 10 years ago. I think they fell a bit from grace as Bioplast won't say what is in them. Possibly worth a try. I've been OK with some of the plastic type retainers and an itchy painful mess with others and I don't have a particularly sensitive skin.

How old is the piercing? Mine took a good couple of years to settle down even after it was technically healed.

I have 14ct gold in my nose piecing now.

Did you change it in the end? I have a year old nose piercing which is constantly irritated and wondering if a plastic piercing will finally heal it!
