Longlasting and non smudging everyday mascara recommendations

My very favourite mascara has been discontinued and I'm looking for a replacement. I need something fairly basic, I don't want volumising, just some definition. I am very blonde and pale so normally go for a black/brown. Not too fussed about the price but under a tenner would be amazing!

Revolution... I think it's called tasty avocado mascara?
I'm really impressed with it at the moment! Smudge proof and really flexible on the lashes so they don't go stiff and crusty.

Cheap as chips: Essence. Absolutely brilliant mascaras.
Cheap as posh chips: L'Oreal Telescopic something or other. It's very very good BUT I wear contact lenses and fibres do break off and make me cry. I really liked it, brush was great etc, but won't buy it again.
Spendy- Dior Pump and Volume. Does everything in one coat.

No7 stay perfect is a tubing mascara. Not as good as some others for definition but doesn't smudge at all (and I'm a proper panda eyes normally) and comes in brown / black.

Totally agree. I am a nurse, so I find that the face masks cause my mascara to smudge. No 7 does not budge. Love it just wish it had a choice of brush types.
