heeeelp! am having a 40th birthday bash - at the local bowling club for gawdsakes - attended by everyone i've ever met in my life. i feel as if i should make a mega effort (bowling club or not) a. to make me feel as if i still have it (debatable, very) and/or b. to have one last stand. i used to be a foxy little rock and roll chick (yes, okay, a lonnnng time ago), now a very boring mum of two. what do you think? do i try to recreate the glory days one last time, or play it safe and wear my twinset? advice/suggestions very very appreciated.

Good
It's your night after all and sounds like you have lots to celebrate. Hope you have a great time and get a bit tipsy

My 40th this year and also planning a party. I say go for it, get the best new outfit you can afford/find, look like the hottest person in the room, and dance all night! Thats what I am intending to do.

yep, a few glasses of fizz and i'll think i'm lovely, even if no-one else does!
