What are these red marks and how to get rid

I’ve had these two small marks on my face for years. They’ve never changed despite everything I’ve used on my face. They’ve started to annoy me recently and I don’t know whether it’s just sun damage or something else and what I can do to get rid? It’s not raised or bumpy or sore. Just flat and red.

Do you wear a mask for work or because of covid?

Bobbin35 · 13/03/2023 09:50

Not anymore. I did in the pandemic but i think they were there before that to be honest. I've never really bothered but i'm trying not to wear as much make-up now but still find myself still trying to cover using foundation.

I had them after excessive mask wearing at start of the pandemic,it was a mixture of excessive moisture and the rubbing of the mask.

Maybe a little bit of rosacea (can you have a little bit of rosacea?)

Are you bothered about them? Because if not, I'd leave well alone.

thanks yes having a google (dangerous i know!) it looks like it could be rosacea but not sure. Is there anything that can help that for anyone else with rosacea?

I had a similar mark on my face that would come and go, It was hard to get a appointment with the demonologists, but once I did it was diagnostic as pre-skin cancer. My doctor froze the area with liquid nitrogen that was in a spry bottle. It killed the skin and got worse but fully held and has never came back. She also gave me some creams for pre cancer spots. I am trying out a bottle of liquid nitrogen from amazon to see if i can treat some other sun spots on my arm and back.
My Dr said that having skin cancer dose not necessary mean that it’s in the body. The liquid nitrogen from the doctors $100.00 visit was in a bottle that looked like spray paint similar to the one I found on Amazon.

to me it looks exactly like sun damage/age spots/hyperpigmentation.
i'd see a dermatologist to confirm, there are some tx that help.
but going forward sun screen and hats.

I'd look into IPL for that
