It's a corporate thing and I will be meeting a lot of DP's colleagues and associates ect for the first time. I want to make a good impression and get it spot on so, please ladies, what do i wear? The only place I get to go these days is the supermarket and the local working mens club so I'm a bit out of practive when it comes to being 'posh'

TIA

I've been grand national regular for the past 10 years. It depends which day you are going as to how dressy you go. Thursday is quite casual, Ladies Day is the dressiest day of the meeting and nothing less than hat and gorgeous frock will do really. Think Ascot in Liverpool. Men wear suits and depending on which stand you are in they will be in top hat and tail to a lounge suit in the tattersatals. Women wear dress to the 9's in all stands. Saturday is a bit more relaxed, but I would still wear a dress, maybe not a hat. Men could prob just get away with a suit and open neck shirt. Its a real spectacular and you want to make the most of it and get dressed up. Think Monsoon and Coast style dresses. I'm in a bit of a quandary what to wear this year, not seen anything I like. You will have a fantastic time. The meeting has really grown into something quite special.
