Foreo bear / mini or LED masks anyone had success?

Anyone used the Foreo bear or Foreo bear mini? I’m sorely tempted, lots of good reviews online but not a huge amount of detail. I would be hoping to firm up jawline / general anti ageing.
Thanks in advance!

I have both. Use daily. I do think they both help, however difficult to know what I'd look like if I didn't use them. I definitely think the foreo bear gives my face more definition.

Thanks @CampervanKween if you were to buy just one, I assume it would be the standard and not mini version?

Yes sorry don't think I was clear. I have the foreo bear pink standard one, and an LED mask. I do 3 mins in the morning with the bear then 3 mins on each setting of the mask. I'm 53 and this feels like it is maintaining the status quo rather than things going downhill.

Hi OP did you go for any of these in the end?

JoanDarc · 18/12/2023 19:26

@LentilFaculties no I didnt in the end, was struggling to find enough good reviews to justify it. Was primarily looking at it for jawline/ nasiolabial lines. Funny you posted now as I’ve just taken delivery of a gua sha stone to see if this helps. Significantly cheaper than the Foreo bear!

In terms of clinical research, LED has much more evidence behind it. Devices like Foreo Bear and NuFace seem to have some anecdotal stuff but as far as I know, there isn't much in the way of research to show any significant difference.
Whereas there is plenty of research to show that exposure to red and near infra red light at the correct wavelength increases collagen production in the skin.

That being said, I don't think either will make any significant changes really.
I have an LED mask (Currentbody) and do think it makes me skin look a bit more refreshed when I use it consistently, but I also use good skincare so that helps too.
