Heatless hair roller thingy headband/ ribbon - do they work

i mean the ones where you twist your hair around and sleep in.
I have come across a few ad posts about these on social media. My hair is dry and fragile so using heated curling wands etc is not great.
Has anyone tried and successfully used one of these? It looks pretty foolproof if it actually works?!?

It works perfectly for me but I have the ‘right’ hair type - thick and naturally quite wavy. Kind of like Kate Middletons but not quite as nice 😂

Don’t bother buying anything though to test it out, use a dressing gown chord. Works exactly the same and there are lots of videos on YouTube.

I have the eternal muse midi and large. Yes they work. I have used them for a while as I had my hair cut off.

I do have one from another brand but can’t remember the name.

My hair is very fine. I spray a bit of leave in conditioner on, wrap it up. I always sleep with a silk bonnet so put that over.

I really wouldn’t recommend the cheap Amazon ones though. Impossible to sleep on.

Just cut up an old T-shirt or something similar. My Granny (born in 1901) used to rag roll my hair when I was a little girl with a cut up tea towel. It worked brilliantly.

Works perfectly for my dd with just sleeping with a dressing gown cordnfwisted in her hair. Waves hold for ages as well.

Bit like a PP my mum used to rag roll my hair. My hair is fairly curly anyway, but the curls were more "consistant" IYSWIM as my curliness varies with the length of my hair.

I use a pair of leggings and it works really well and is comfortable to sleep in, the curls last for days too I tried my daughter's proper hair roll and just couldn't get on with it

Thanks all!! I will try with your various methods and see if that works.
