Brands which cut for the hourglass/waisted figure

Can anyone suggest any nice, mid-range brands that do this?

I used to find that Reiss and Karen Millen were good for this but Reiss - not so much anymore (not sure about KM).

Obviously Im not that bothered about casual clothes but I do need to dress smartly for work and the odd business dinner/event and I'd love to find some trousers that I dont have to keep hoiking up and some tailored jackets that follow my shape instead of making me look like a box.

I have big norks and broad shoulders so boyfriend jackets just make me look like a fridge on legs.

Any tips?

Whistles is usually very good for this.
Hobbs although quality has reduced, I think.
Tara Jarmon
Paisie
Sessun
Winser London
LK Bennet
Some of All Saints
Samantha Sung shirt dresses although very expensive at full price (they do come up on eBay)
French Connection
Phase Eight
Zara just because there is so much that you will find things if you try enough on!
Ghost
Some of the vintage brands like House of Foxy, but choose carefully to avoid looking like you're headed to Goodwood!

I'm a 34J with a relatively small waist so spend a lot of time looking for things that work on me.

That’s an amazing list @Cinnamonandcoal - thanks.

Ive never heard of some of those brands, thanks for the Goodwood warning too!

I think that Hobbs is cut for Apple shapes more now than it used to be but I’ll give it a whirl. I used to buy a lot from L K Bennet and phase Eight in the past. Another good one used to be The White Company but they’ve gone larger in the waist with a lot of items having an elasticated waist now.

I recently bought ASOS Hourglass trousers and jeans and they’ve been good. Hit and miss with the sizing though so hard to order more than one size and return the ones that didn’t fit.

Thanks for the tip.
