Help To go short-short and face shape advice

I am considering cutting my hair very short but am unsure if it would suit me or what style short would be best. I want to try it and start again with my hair. It suits me off my face and up so I thought short might suit me. Some pics of me (hopefully you can see face shape) I’d welcome your advice! One pic is unsmiling and ‘undone’ the other smiling and ready to go out.

I think there's a short cut for everyone, you've just got to find the right cut for your hair type/face shape. Mine is very short, undercut and longer and very choppy on the top but my hair is fine and straight.
