Tretinoin - which company?

I would like to introduce Tretinoin into my skincare routine and I am wondering where would be the best place to get it from. I have hormonal acne and hyperpigmentation so I think it may help.

My current options are

  1. order from Dermatica
  2. order from Skin + Me 3 order from an independent site with no subscription fee like Tretinoin world.

does anyone have experience with any of these companies? Which would you recommend? Thanks.

I have used both companies and prefer Dematica. Both offer a free trial so try it and see 🙃

I use skin & me and can't fault them. They made the journey into tret very simple! I get compliments on my skin regularly.

I've been happily using tret from tretinoin world for 6 months... but I've just got over confident and obliterated my skin barrier. So... great value and good results, but risky if your an idiot (like me)

Dermatica ✅

You're 🤦🏻‍♀️

@JofraArchersFastestBall oh no, what happened with your skin barrier? Did you move up in strength too fast?

I've been fine with using it very sparingly every other night, onto dry skin and followed by CeraVe moisturiser. The last few weeks I've just been lazy, using straight after I've washed my face and not moisturising on top.
My skin is red and sore (I don't think the weather has helped either) but I'm hopeful that a couple of weeks with no actives and lots of la roche cicaplast balm will get me back on track.

I know this is an old post but I just wanted to say that lots of people can't tolerate tret when it's put on wet skin. Lots of dermatologists say you should wait at least 20mins after washing to make sure your face is completely dry.

I've used Dermatica and Skin & Me and much prefer Skin & me. I have really sensitive skin and they started me low and built up slowly and I have tolerated it really well so far (had bad irritation with Dermatica). I also prefer their packaging and the formula over Dermatica - the Skin & Me is much easier to spread.
