In the last couple of days, I've come across a couple of links here on MN for great websites for womens clothes ie. white stuff and great plains.

Up until now I've stuck to boden/next/m&s/vertbudet but I now realised that there must be lots of others out there.

.... so, perhaps we could have a list I'll start with what I've got;

www.boden.co.uk
www.marksandspencer.com
www.next.co.uk
www.whitestuff.co.uk
www.gap.com (us site, but I've found the price in dollars is about the same as £, so at least you can have a look without leaving home)

anymore?

Good idea - I'm in desperate need of inspiration. i use much the same as you but need inspiration from elsewhere.
Only other one I regularly use is
www.fatface.com

Tansen looks lovely, doesn't it. I haven't ordered from it myself, but someone on here has, and said the stuff was nice, but the sizes came up a bit small.

New Look are now online too. Bon Prix is cheap and cheerful. HTH

I like joules www.joulesclothing.com

BroccoliSpears · 10/02/2008 22:27

Excellent link JackieNo.

TimeForMe · 10/02/2008 22:53

Principles. Debenhams. And for shoes Brantano.

MrsBadger · 10/02/2008 22:54

Uttam / Tansen is lovely, but the fabrics are thinner than they appear, iyswim, and didn't Franny find a skirt had contrast inserts not visible in the pic?

Peacocks and BHS are useful for cheap one-offs, and Littlewoods is killer for bargain party dresses.

Don't forget Laura Ashley, Kew and (gloriously) Uniqlo.

And if you need cotton basics (or metallic hotpants), America Apparel

MrsBadger · 10/02/2008 22:56

and if you are young there's Fat Face and Joe Brown's
