Outfit for next day of wedding

Hi,

I've a wedding at the end of the month.
I'm sorted with a dress but now I'm thinking of what to wear for the next day.
It's a BBQ starting at 4pm at the hotel and will go on for the night.

Trying to decide if I already have something to wear or if I'll get something new, just looking for some style inspo.

I'm quite petite, about 5.3 and a size 8, mid 30s.

It's been a while since I've been to a Day 2 of a wedding so not sure if it'll be very dressy or what.

So stylish ones, any ideas would be much appreciated 👌

Is the wedding by any chance in Ireland OP?

I ask because we were kindly invited to the wedding of a friend's son to his Irish born fiancee just outside Dublin last year. We went, knowing that it was a three day event!

Day one - wedding in church, lots of style, all out glam and frocks (and that was just the men lol).

Day two - BBQ/outdoor buffet, weather was gorgeous. Easy style wear anything except I didn't see any jeans and T shirt, so lots of light trousers, flats or trainers, nice tops, midi everyday summer dresses, nothing too hectic and anything goes kind of thing. Very relaxed day.

Day three, gathering outdoors on the terrace after breakfast. Prosecco and OJ or whatever. Wear what you like.

So day two is wear something nice and comfortable, not necessarily new and enjoy!

I went to a three day wedding (why?!) and the only dressy day was the wedding itself. The rest of the time was fairly casual.

Thanks @PillBoxes and @VenusClapTrap. Yep the wedding is in Ireland. So I know the wedding day itself will be very dressy which is fine. Its just the next day, with it being a BBQ but only end of March weather might not be great.

If it was middle of summer I'd just go with a nice summery dress.

I think because I'll be dressy on the day of the wedding, I'd like something relaxed but still stylish for the next day...and that's where I seem stumped!

I'm hopeless with fashion (why am I on this board ha ha?), but I think someone will be along soon to help you out.

And for others who may have never attended an Irish wedding, they are mad, and so thoroughly FUN for everyone, no matter your age. 5am sing song in the residents lounge anyone? Breakfast on day two is a hilarious mix of those who never went to bed, and those who wish they never got up!

But they are so different to the UK weddings I know of. No Cinderella endings at midnight for sure!

I've got a day-after brunch at a wedding in April and I've bought myself my first ever jumpsuit (in fact from a charity shop). I'm betting it'll be about right.
