What 'season colours' would you say this actress is?

Wondering if it's worth a professional try because deciding what season and undertone is very hard Grin

I'm talking olive skin, warm undertone, brown hair, but has blue eyes?

I can't work out what season and warmth I am since blue eyes don't seem to fit the mould for a anything warm? Yet the skin and hair fit warm 'Autumn'

A similar celebrity linked so anyone who could advise, I would be grateful

She's wearing white there rather than cream and it suits her, which is a clue that she's probably cooler overall. I'd say probably a Summer, because her contrast isn't strong enough for winter. Her lipstick is also cool and looks nice. Her skin I think has a lot of make up on so it's hard to tell her skin tone. There are different versions of summer though.

@touterustome thank you. Can I ask your opinion on this picture? This reflects her true undertones a bit better I think?

I'm not an expert! I think it's an art not a science. The first link should have links to 12 different palettes. Look at each and see which one fits you best

In this picture she's wearing a cool blue and it looks nice. I can't imagine her in sludgy greens and oranges and creams which errs me away from autumn

AdventFridgeOfShame · 01/03/2023 21:25

This site has her down as a soft summer.

This is probably the photo with least make-up on

If yo I scroll down to tonal guides you can look at them all. Soft summer perhaps for that actress. Soft autumn could be a possibility but I think it drags the brightness in her face down more than the soft summer

Yes!!

frugalkitty · 01/03/2023 23:45

I'd say a summer too.

CheekyHobson · 02/03/2023 00:03

Definitely a soft summer, her skin and hair tones are quite olive/cool rather than yellow/red.

GoShorty · 02/03/2023 20:40

I came to say summer but I see everyone else has said that already! She has similar colouring to me - possibly soft summer as I bet she could get away with slightly warmer colours if she had a tan.

SharonKaren · 02/03/2023 20:56

Definitely autumn for me.

  • a lucky autumn who'd look fabulous with sage green
JesusMaryAndJosephAndTheWeeDon · 03/03/2023 16:21

I'd get an analysis, I was similar to you, didn't think I fitted any category quite right. Not dissimilar colouring to the actress you have posted.

Turns out I am a classic winter, and I am rubbish at judging warm/cool tones. Makes sense now it has all been explained and I am very happy with the analysis. It has encouraged me to wear colours I might have avoided and has helped massively with lipstick choices!!! I'm reconsidering hair colour too as a result.

I went with Style Me Happy/Emily Innes, it was easy and reasonably priced.

Soft summer has some lovely sage greens in the palette. Soft summer is more on the autumn side of summer anyway

SharonKaren · 04/03/2023 09:02

You're right, as an autumn I do find some of the soft summer colours close enough too.
