Not your WFH comfies but your in the office on best behaviour wear. I can't seem to find anything that fits or suits. I'm 5'9, hour glass figure size 12/14. Everyone in the office always look beautiful and well put together and I'd like to be one of them.

Reiss, Whistles, Zara. Bits and bobs from M&S - e.g. their crepe wide leg trousers. Cashmere from Chinti & Parker (but bought on Vinted).
Some things from Iro and Maje.

Shein at the minute

CMOTDibbler · 24/02/2023 19:21

Best behaviour, currently The Fold. Next level down is mostly Reiss plus a couple of Bombshell Hq dresses, then M&S ruched sleeve blazers sort of thing

You're getting suggestions from Shein to The Fold OP, so we'll need an idea of your budget and how smart your office is to be more specific I think.

torquewench · 24/02/2023 19:26

I've just bought a few bits from Sezane.

SuperGinger · 24/02/2023 19:30

Hobbs, Cos

ThreeB · 24/02/2023 19:34

Mint Velvet and Hobbs

Leakingtoilet · 24/02/2023 19:35

eBay!

Sorry I missed that bit out. Budget is decent, I'd rather buy a few key staples I can rotate into decent outfits rather than a pile from shien. Current workplace is informally formal but looking sharp if that makes things clearer!

Cos, and some John Lewis own brand stuff which has become rather nice. Once upon a time it was all Hobbs for work, but they somehow haven’t quite kept up, they’re still all fitted knee length shift dresses.

Unicorn34 · 24/02/2023 19:45

I always go to my trusted online Roman Originals

thedevilinablackdress · 24/02/2023 20:07

Probably COS for me too

Bundlebee · 24/02/2023 20:17

I've got a few work dresses from Toast. They are beautiful, I love wearing them and instantly feel stylish and put together.

missmoon · 24/02/2023 20:20

Jigsaw is great for workwear, also second The Fold for a few special things, and Arket.

RedLeopardSilk · 24/02/2023 20:25

I'm 5'10" and a healthy hourglass 12. I find Cos and Winser London suit me well - especially WL. I always try to stick with what suits me rather than looking particularly of the moment - and I mostly strike lucky with these two.

PinkTonic · 24/02/2023 20:26

Reiss, Whistles, The Fold and Me&Em mainly with some blouses from Hush. I’ve not been keen on Hobbs for years but was out shopping with DD(34) last weekend and she bought two really cute dresses, a blouse and a jacket so maybe look there too.

ThatDreamSheep · 24/02/2023 20:27

I've just today got some lovely dresses from M&co, all reduced to clear so we're £10 each!

TheDead · 24/02/2023 20:31

My work clothes are a mix of Whistles, Jigsaw, ME+EM, Sezane & 1 pair of trousers from M&S!

I work in a creative sector so no requirement for corporate clothing. It's smart casual but on the edgier side. Style is a factor in my sector for sure

Unicorn2022 · 24/02/2023 20:33

I get everything from Brand Alley. I've got a lovely work wardrobe from lots of different designers and never spend a huge amount of money.

NotMeNoNo · 24/02/2023 20:34

Jigsaw.

MintJulia · 24/02/2023 20:53

This winter's been a bit haphazard. I only go in once a week. I have...

A wool challis Boden dress
A Boden coatigan
Black Boden wool wide-legged trousers
A Celtic & Co kilt
Three Woolovers lambswool sweaters
Two long sleeved TUI thermal t-shirts
A long black & grey White Company dress
Long Timberland heeled boots
A Max Mara coat.

Cinnamonandcoal · 25/02/2023 07:14

For an hourglass, Whistles and Winser London. Hobbs fits but a bit floral. Cos I like but doesn't suit me. Zara has some good stuff. Massimo Dutti.
