Smart casual - what to wear?!!

Going away for the night… bit of a surprise. Have been told to pack smart casual, for dinner and drinks.

Dont know what to wear???

Is this smart casual? Or too dressy?

I wouldn’t describe that dress as smart-casual.

I’d struggle to style it in any way that didn’t leave the outfit looking smart-dressy.

I wouldn't class that as smart casual, but rather more dressy.

Yes dress is really lovely but I’d say dressy as opposed to smart cas. However some people are always dressy so it might be your smart cas. Better overdressed than under I reckon
