Advice for the mad hair please??

I have put a link in to sum pics of my hair its quite long very thick and curly i want sumthing totally diffrent, dont mind straighting it and want it about shoulder length i think but any advice welcome.

It would take a long time to straighten your hair, its so long! Have you thought of a curly bob, like this (scroll down for curly wurly hair)

personally, i think all you need is to cut it to shoulder length. the curls are gorgeous. the colour is gorgeous. (ive also just spent the afternoon reading trinny and sussanah book) so htink that the shorter lentgh will make you look younger.

maida, that is gorgeous. peppa, if you can maintain it, i think that would look gorgeous on you.
agree re the time required to straighten it. used to take me 45 minutes ish to do mine. then i had it chemically straightened. but you cant do that as your hair is naturally so curly that the roots woiuld show immediately and youd need to have it done far too regularly to keep it healthy.

Agree with pukka, would have it cut shorter, it'll look sleeker/in better condition and shorter hair usually makes you look younger IME (used to have long hair but feel younger with it cut into a shortish bob).

Thanks all for your comments gonna get a few together then take them to the hairdressers my hubby away week after this coming one so gonna get it done as a suprise if i dare lol will let you all know what it ends up like with pictures of course lol thanks again.
