Why is it impossible to find a pair of jean that fit me properly!!!!

I am on a quest to find a pair of jeans that actually fit me properly. I always end up with either a muffin top, or if I find a pair that fits me round the waist within 2 weeks I require a belt as they have loosened off and no amount of washing seems to make them fit me properly again.

I'm a size 12/14 depending on where I shop and am 5'10, but length is never usually an issue as I apparantly have quite short legs for my height!

Has anyone found a pair they are truly happy with? (that doesnt cost a bomb )

Hi Bandgeek, I am having the same problems as you. I always used to find buying jeans really easy. Now it's a nightmare....no real advice I'm afraid but will watch your thread with interest.

Do you get MAC jeans in UK? I have bought then a few times. I will google...

They have different shapes and lengths.

Zara are the best place for jeans.
I love them.

i can't find any jeans to fit well either!
i am 5ft 2 size 10/12 but i think i have a big bum, so they seem to end up gaping at the back

2 of my friends look fab in their jeans, one from river island and the other swears by next but neither fit me!

Think I have come to the conclusion that jeans just arent flattering, or for that matter very comfortable either. They are so versatile tho. Am trying cord trousers (which are not that much better.)
