Any recommendations for an inexpensive vitamin C?

I've tried The Ordinary (didn't like it and it left my white pillowcases with a faint hue of orange). I've tried one from Boots which was more user friendly but I didn't notice any difference in my skin.

Can anyone recommend the one they are using please?

Pre menopausal skin if that makes any difference.

I use the superdrug vit c booster ( think that's what it's called) it's really fantastic, definitely notice a difference when I don't use it. Not pricey either.

Inkey list 30% vitamin c serum,there's one that's about a tenner and it lasts a while because you don't need much. I mix it with moisturiser though as it can sting a bit.
They also do another one that's a bit more expensive but in a bigger tube thats 15%. That one doesn't sting,both do a great job!

My daughter recommended the Revolution one and I like it :-)
No orangey gunk, smells OK, doesn't pill up on your skin. I also like the glass pump dispenser bottle as there is no waste. Under a tenner, too.

Geek and gorgeous C glow is amazing. I use it in the morning so no idea about pillows. But it’s clear, so I don’t think it should leave a mark.

Am I missing something here? Just eat an orange?🤔
