PLEASE help me find a bra, 36J, that doesn't cost the earth, but please don't tell me to go to Bravissimo etc as I can't afford it!

Regular but have namechanged

I've lost over 2 stone and know I need a new bra, my old ones are horrendously big! I don't want to spend a lot, really I don't, because I'm continuing to lose weight and don't want to have £££ sitting in my lingerie drawer that don't fit!

Local M&S don't go up to a J cup (as you see, I'm not huge of back, but I am huge of nork)

Figleaves. They do a huge range inc j cups at every price. Although Bravissimo do do sales?

MamaGotMassiveNorks · 09/02/2008 11:00

Just had a look at both, bit to ££ at the mo but thanks

MamaGotMassiveNorks · 09/02/2008 11:11

MamaGotMassiveNorks · 09/02/2008 11:11

Its impossible

I will just have to spend over £20 on a bra that will only fit me for 2 months max

Bugger

I look ridiculous - had hoped losing weight would make my norks go down. Alas, no

Marks do a couple This up to a J £12 and this £16

Also Spend £35 on all lingerie and nightwear and save £5. Enter code LING5OFF - you can get Free Delivery over £30 using FREEDELV code as well.

Don't forget 6% Quidco cashback too.

bossybritches · 09/02/2008 11:20

www.shapelyfigures.com

Just got a flyer in the paper-no idea of cost butu have a look!

bubblerock · 09/02/2008 11:21

There's an Ebay shop Here that has size J too.

MamaGotMassiveNorks · 09/02/2008 11:25

THanks both.

The problem with M&S is that while they do go up to a J cup, its only for the bigger back sizes. A 36 back isn't huge (is it?!) but the J cup is IYKWIM

don't know what quidco is???

the shapley figures website looks ok, but a bit ££

Will have to consider ebay

Asda have just done this big thing about how they will be selling larger bra's at normal prices, but i don't know when that starts or what they are going up to- worth keeping an eye out for though?

Well done on the weight loss!

MamaGotMassiveNorks · 09/02/2008 11:29

Thanks Peachy
They go up to a G but thanks anyway.

I just have to face it - I can't get a bra for a tenner!

OP posts:
bubblerock · 09/02/2008 11:34

ooh - have a look Here - you get 10% off first order and they do loads of sizes inc 36J - they have packs of 2 for under £20 too!

bubblerock · 09/02/2008 11:36

There's something on the front page about a £1 bra for new customers too using code XAJQ2 after registering.

MamaGotMassiveNorks · 09/02/2008 11:36

thanks bubble, but only 2 styles in that size, both over £25! Its not faaaair

Shapely Figures Pk2 U/W Brod. Angl. Bras - KD824WB is £22 for a 2 pack

SheikYerbouti · 09/02/2008 11:47

Brastop.com are good.

you will be able to buy some matching "panties" for you BWA

hatwoman · 09/02/2008 12:00

are you in London? there's a bra shop near Putney Bridge taht I have heard people rave about - they fit you properly - and adjust your bras individually - apparently a stitch or two here or there and it makes a really perfect fit. they're also, I 've heard, not expensive. the only problem is that I can't remember their name. perhaps some googling or a new thread?

ElvinaFrizzell · 09/02/2008 12:09

How about this one? They have a lot of other styles in your size.

accessorizemybaublessanta · 09/02/2008 12:43

You're not after maternity are you? Did I misunderstand? As I have some in 36J!
Tis v.hard to get cheap bras in bigger sizes cup-wise and only 36 (as I am 36H)
What about debenhams, their lovely range goes up to J I think and not too pricey (well above a tenner, sorry).
Wanted on mumsnet? I often have bras that have seen little use and cost me lots but can't wear anymore.

bigspender30 · 09/02/2008 12:59

I would recommend brastop too. They stock same as bravissimo but half the price!

trixymalixy · 09/02/2008 22:18

ebay

MAMAZON · 09/02/2008 22:19

Asda now stock the Jordan range and hers go up to very large sizes and all at asda prices.

some are really pretty too.

TLSM · 09/02/2008 22:23

I would go for ebay loads on there
