Another house of colour question

Does anyone know if the standard of House of Colour consultants is the same?

I'm coming up to a certain birthday I'm 55 next month thinking of getting "my colours done". Where I live there are quite a few different consultants listed as nearby. Some are more in a snazzy part of town quite posh areas and some are more in the suburbs. Totally second guessing here but I was wondering if the those in the posher areas might be a bit be condescending/not bothered about doing me?

Of course they might be really friendly and enjoy dealing with an oik like me; but 30 odd years ago I had a professional make up lesson for a birthday and they seemed fairly bored by me iyswim. In fact they only perked up right at the end when they discovered I knew some people who could possibly further their career, gave me their card to pass on, which of course I didn't fancy doing.

Don't want to sound woe is me, but it took the shine off and I don't fancy repeating.

I had my colour analysis with House of Colour about 10 years ago and just chose my nearest consultant with availability. She was fine. But at the time I didn't have the money or the desire to take it further. She is now retired. Last year I had a colour re-rate and style with another House of Colour Consultant. There is no-one local to me so I had to travel. This time I chose someone who was busy and active online and social media. She often holds fashion and make up events online and posts regularly on Facebook and Instagram to give ideas and tips.

I would have a dig around and see what they offer beyond the colour and style packages.

Also once you've done your colour (and style) analysis there are official and unofficial House of Colour season and style Facebook groups to share ideas.
