Warm skin tone and cold eye tone - make up advice needed.

I recently had my eyes done at Laura Mercier. The make up artist said I have warm skin tone and cold eye tone, I’d never thought about an eye tone. What should this mean for the make up I choose and the way I apply it?
To add, I have hooded greenish/ hazel eyes (they were blue as a child). My skin is very, very freckly but tans underneath so I look generally warm pinky mid beige, not sallow.
I’ve seen lots of ads for the VB kajal eyeliner. Do you think the fig (aubergine) colour might work?

I have a similar colouring and have struggled with the recent trends for warm toned eyeshadows. Purple colours work really well on me so I think aubergine sounds lovely. I use Chanel tisse rivoli and the style yeux eyeliner in cassis. I haven’t used the VB aubergine but I like her brown shade.

Thanks Amortentia , I’ll have a look at those.

I have this Channel quad too and I have green/brown (hazel) eyes. Another couple that suit me are Dior quints in Romantic Voyage and Plum Tulle. Both have plum, pinks and pinky taupes. I'm more cool toned in skin, Rose ivory or beige rose etc. I'm also freckly.

Just to add the above quints really bring out the green in my eyes. They are both beautiful and well worth the cost.
