EL double wear or similar

Ok so i used to LOVE double wear! Then i started to get fine lines and i found it just made them /me look worse! So since then ive tryed all sorts ( just waated 30 odd quid on It cosmetics, hate it) i miss double wear, i love its staying power and how flawless i looked ( when i was mid 20s🙄)

Is there anything out there that lasts like double wear but won't cake my face and emphasise lines ?

Or shouldni get double wear and add moisturiser to it?

I switched from Dw to nars longwear and I looooove it!

I had the same with ELDW but after trying a million others (and spending hundreds!), tried hydrating my skin before applying which has seemed to do the trick. I use Bobbi Brown Face Base (in addition to normal skincare) and it looks like it used to. I know the BB is £££ but heard good things about the primark and Aldi dupes.

Have you tried DW futurist?

doozledog · 19/02/2023 14:33

No but ive just had a look at it, it may be worth taking a risk!

A very good and much more affordable dupe is the revlon colourstay for normal/oily skin which as a matte finish. They also to a dry/normal version which is more dewy. Lovely coverage and does. not. budge. Fantastic for the price and so underrated.

Second EL futurist. Not the same coverage, but still good and lighter. They will give decent samples at the counter so you can try it first.

Chanel or Lancôme are both really nice. I found the EL very drying .
