Dying hair at home using professional products

Last year I decided to go much darker having had highlights for years. This was mainly due to needing to improve the condition of my hair. I’ve used semi permanent up until now and bought L’Oréal diarichesse plus the activator (I used the lowest peroxide option) and it worked pretty well.

I now need to use a permanent dye to improve the grey coverage. I like the L’Oréal professional range but could do with some advice over shade.

The diarichesse shade I’ve been using is 7.32- iridescent honey blonde which actually is a fairly dark brown on my hair (I think it’s super porous due to years of bleaching and absorbs the colour to a greater extent). I’d like a dark blonde finish rather than a dark brown with a permanent colour that covers grey- any advice or recommendations? Thanks!

I'd recommend going to a retailer like sally beauty. A lot of their retail staff are ex hair stylists so would be able to advise on best products/colours to use for what you want to achieve.
Sally beauty are open to the public not just professionals.
