Well my 'accessible' luxury would be more like a 'Dune'- so no😂

toomuchfaster · 16/02/2023 08:26

I wouldn't put Burberry on it at all!!

Ariela · 16/02/2023 08:28

Who cares? Not a handbag user if at all possible. Small handmade leather mini satchel style one otherwise.

QuietlyConfident · 16/02/2023 08:30

Looks about right (as a dedicated purchaser from the bottom row in the sales). Where's Mulberry though?

duckfordinner · 16/02/2023 09:04

Yep, as former shopaholic, looks right to me

shouldhavetakenmorenotice · 16/02/2023 09:07

I couldn't tell you what a 'classic' Burberry bag looks like.

Mind you - if Daniel Lee does for them what he did for Bottega this might be a prediction for the future?

shouldhavetakenmorenotice · 16/02/2023 09:08

And LV should not be that low

superplumb · 17/02/2023 20:58

Yeah I'd agree. In terms of price and accessibility but not necessarily quality. Coach for example are very well made. Hermes ( birkin) impossible to get unless you play their silly games.

holein1 · 17/02/2023 21:07

As someone who has Kate Spade, Tory Burch and longchamp I would agree with the accessibly luxury, but not sure I would put Micheal Kors in that category too.

DJSteves · 17/02/2023 21:14

Longchamp is more luggage to me

Maireas · 17/02/2023 21:15

Michael Kors isn't in that luxury bracket, is it? Also Louis Vuitton should be at the bottom.

Cococomellonn · 17/02/2023 21:19

^^

i don't think Michael korrs belongs with mark jacobs (MJ is better and MK a bit tacky!)

mulberry is above them

AnotherCountryMummy · 17/02/2023 21:48

I'm no expert by any means, but it looks about right. Although I'd put MK in the bin 🤦🏻‍♀️

RhadamanthNemes · 18/02/2023 01:03

No.

The Row.

Khaite.

Who made this pyramid?

RhadamanthNemes · 18/02/2023 01:05

Loewe is not the same level as Burberry.

TheChosenTwo · 18/02/2023 01:08

Michael Kors I mentally put in the same category as River Island, definitely not in any way close to what I would define as any kind of luxury! It’s really naff 😳

RhadamanthNemes · 18/02/2023 01:09

And Dior and Channel are very bloody boring.

TheChosenTwo · 18/02/2023 01:09

I’d also shove LV down a row. Maybe 2.

RhadamanthNemes · 18/02/2023 01:10

I agree @TheChosenTwo

TheChosenTwo · 18/02/2023 01:11

But then I’m not really much into designer labels so don’t have anything from most of them. The idea of joining a waiting list or having to make an appointment to buy a handbag or a jacket would have me running to the nearest shop that you can just walk but I a buy something so I’m not the target audience of these brands 😂

RhadamanthNemes · 18/02/2023 01:14

I have Loewe, I have Khaite, I have The Row bags.

I'm super not into Channel, Dior or Hermes. Tedious.

SunsetStrip · 18/02/2023 01:32

This is simply in brackets of price, certainly not quality. The y axis says price but then the x axis says mass/niche but then the triangle doesn't make sense.

BusterGonad · 18/02/2023 03:28

Swap Marc Jacobs and LV. LV is too mainstream and faked to be anything other than the bottom row.

Quite.

StarsSand · 18/02/2023 04:57

Coach should be further to the left, it's incredibly mass produced.
