Stylish cape/poncho for wet weather (including for cycling)

I’m looking for a cape or poncho that will keep me dry but is stylish and smart enough to wear around town and to work apppointments on wet days. It needs to be suitable for cycling as well as walking so not too narrow fitting, but I want something that doesn’t scream practical sportswear. It would mainly be for short journeys around town in light rain so I don’t need anything high spec or cycling specific.

I’m petite so anything advertised as unisex or even one size for women is likely to drown me.

I’m imagining something chic and trench-y in camel or perhaps something that could be belted when I get off the bike but I haven’t seen anything so far. Any suggestion welcome!

Something from Rains?
Most cycling ponchos are quite voluminous to protect arms/knees. Why not just a swingy short trench coat?

I really rate the Joules water proof fold away macs. They are light and waterproof and fold into themselves. They do come up large though so I would size down once or twice to get a smaller fit.

Had to link from M&S as Joules don’t seem to have them in stock now.

Joules do actually have a couple of size 10 left on clearance, on the off chance you like it and that’s your size!

How about this: www.cyclechic.co.uk/shop/clothing/happy-rainy-days-cycling-raincoat-madonna

Available in red or blue.

The rains capes look big and very voluminous, has anyone short tried one?

a swingy trench would be fine (and I am happy to add an extra button to stop it blowing open at the bottom if needed) but I haven’t found anything wide but long enough to cover knees

Thanks! Are they breathable? It looks like the lining is polyester too. I actually have a similar looking jacket from H&M but in ever wear it as I get hot and sweaty.

Not convinced by the red but I like the idea and I spotted some gloves I liked so the shop is a good find, thanks!

This looks stylish I think for a cape.. but no idea if practical when on a bike?

Thanks. I can’t see the measurements but I think it’s the same problem as with anything one size, it would almost be floor-length on me.
