Shampoo for grey white hair that doesn't turn it purple

I'm very light grey with a bit of blond/ light brown.
I've been using purple shampoo (Provoke) for ages but am finding that it's leaving a Purple tinge on my hair especially the under layers.
The trouble is that if I don't use it my top layers go yellowy.
I recently used a heated styler to curl my hair and it went really yellow which I'm not after at all.
Any suggestions please?

I use Aveda Blue Malva on my hair around twice a month and it keeps it nice and silver. I'm limited to what I can use as I can't use SLSs but luckily it works really well.

I use Aussie SOS blonde about once every couple of weeks. Hasn’t turned it purple.

Just wondering- when the heat turned it yellow, did the purple shampoo get rid of it, or does it turn it forever?

I use Pantene grey and glowing regularly and it hasn't turned my hair purple.

I have a super pigmented one imported from US that does change my colour. Can’t remember brand my hairdresser gives all her regular grey clients some to keep us looking tip top! Mine is helpfully in an olaplex bottle!

@Fakecrazy the purple shampoo definitely helped but there are blond/ yellow streaks on the top layers, I hate them, it looks like old men I used to see who smoked heavily, with nicotine stained fingers and yellow hair!

I am exactly the same. I've found no shampoo that leaves lue residue and I've tried tons!

White Hot Hair, the products are white so dont deposit colour.

Sorry! Some of the products are lilac and some white, the glorious shampoo is lovely.
