Recommendations for dealing with spotty face in my 50s

Hi there - I am post menopausal, 55 and over the last few years have realised I get a spotty face a lot in patches. My face care isn't great (generally soap and water and moisturiser when it feels dry) but that's clearly not currently working. Some of the spotty areas are also dry so I've no idea what I should be doing to deal with them. Any product suggestions would be great - the simpler the better! Thanks

Are the dry area also red? Does your skin feel comfortable? How does your skin respond to cold wind or heat? Do the spots come to a head or are they rash like.

Allergies?

Diet and or nutrition issues?

I’d do that before anything else.
